Recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid (0.03), Honest is a synergistic coating for sliding wear and high surface loads.

Hont-Lube works at critical temperature extremes to prevent friction, galling and wear. Engineers used the coating in NASA space vehicles and now apply it to manufacturing, processing and packaging equipment.

In application testing for jet engine use, Hont-Lube worked under exacting conditions. In preliminary thrust bearing tests where conventional lubricants and combinations of materials failed in less than five minutes, Hont-Lube performed for three hours, 36 times greater effectiveness. These tests used a room temperature of up to 1000 F (538oC), an applied load of 1400 pounds rotating at 720 rpm and reversing direction every three seconds.
